Officers stopped the car near the intersection of Mangrove Avenue and Manzanita Court just before 10 Friday night. A K-9 responded and reportedly detected narcotics in the vehicle. Officers found over 82 grams methamphetamine and a large amount of Vicodin pills along with a digital scale and cash. According to a Chico Police press release, the suspect, identified as 48-year-old James Marshal was arrested for various drug charges.
