Officers arrived to a house party in the area of West 2nd Avenue and Warner Street just after midnight Saturday to find party goers dispersing. According to Chico Police, many of those who were contacted denied any knowledge of a shooting. Minutes later however, a 20-year-old man arrived at Enole Medical Center suffering from a gunshot wound. The man told officers that he had been shot outside of the party after a large fight had broken out.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the fight and the shooting to contact the Chico Police Deparment.
