Butte County Road Crews will be working into April along Highway 70 to remove brush and overpopulated small trees. The fuel management project goes along Big Bend Road from Highway 70 to Nobb Road and on Dark Canyon Road from Big Bend to the end of the County maintained roadway. As well as on Pinkston Canyon Road from Highway 70 to Concow Road. Work will continue through April 17th. Officials say during work hours, roads will be reduced to a single lane of traffic. According to the Butte County Department of Public Works, motorists can expect delays of up to 15 minutes. The project will run from 7 AM to 3 PM.
