The Butte Strong Fund is accepting inquiries from organizations seeking funding for community development projects in the Camp Fire Burn area. Officials with the Butte Strong Fund say they remain focused on its top two priorities of housing and health, however, they say this year groups can make requests for funding to augment larger projects to help build or rebuild community landmarks and gathering places. According to David Little of the North Valley Community Foundation, examples include historic landmarks, museums, and community centers. Grants would be between 50 thousand to 150 thousand dollars.
