Police are looking into a shooting incident in downtown Chico. Two men were walking on West 5th Street near the intersection of Oak Street around 1:15 Saturday morning when a small white sedan stopped in the roadway ahead of them. One of the occupants of the vehicle pulled a gun and allegedly fired a shot into the air and then a shot towards the two men, but they were not hit or injured in the incident. Police say the vehicle then sped off. According to Chico Police, there is no known motive for the shooting.
