Beginning March 12th the census questionnaire will be available online, by phone, or on paper.

County officials say the statistics from the Census are used for community development, emergency preparedness, job creation and infrastructure. The statistics are also used to help the county to allocate federal funding for important community services.

County officials say the Census Bureau is required by law to protect any personal information it collects and keep it confidential. They also say that the questionnaire does NOT include a question about citizenship status.
