The investigation continues by Chico police for the drowning of a Chico Man in Sycamore Pool late Friday morning. It happend around 11:40 that Police received a call of a subject in the water. They located a white male adult, between 50 and 60 years old, about 50 feet off the shore. Medics and Chico Fire arrived and after 20 minutes of life saving procedures the man was pronounced dead.

Authorities say there were no signs of foul play.
