Late last week Chico Police arrested 36 year old Eric Allen for being implicated in the murder of John David Noonan January 23rd. Police say Allen, a felon, was allegedly armed and booked on a single count of murder along with other charges. Allen reportedly shot Noonan at the Motel 6 at Manzanita Court in Chico in January. Noonan was pronounced dead at a local hospital after being found by Chico Police. According to the Chico Police Department, the case is still ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Chico Police Department's Detective Bureau at 897-5820.
