The Butte County Sheriff's Office identifies the body found in the Thermalito Forebay of Lake Oroville Sunday. The sheriff's office was able to obtain a DNA sample from a relative of the victim to positively identify the body as that of 63-year-old Robert Martin of Oroville. His family said he had been missing since Febraury 2nd. During the investigation into Martin's death glass was found on his body. This prompted authorities to search for a vehicle which they found at the bottom of a canal, according to the Sheriff's Office. The CHP is conducting an investigation to determine what caused Martin's vehicle to leave the roadway.
