Effective today, the city of Chico will close ALL its facilities to the public for the forseeable future. Entrance will be allowed by APPOINTMENT ONLY to City Hall, the Police Department and the Public Works office. According to a city of Chico press release this is due of Corona Virus concerns. City officials stresses commerce will continue, but closure will hopefully keep the public safe and mitigate the spread of the virus.
