Shooting on Greyhound Bus Oroville
One man is in custody following a deadly shooting in Oroville Wednesday evening.
According to the Butte County Sheriff's Office, it happened around 7:35 p.m. on board a Los Angeles bound Greyhound bus near the am-pm store on Oro Dam Blvd. and Feather River Blvd. The Sherrifs Office reports it started as an altercation between two passengers. One man pulled out a gun and opened fire, wounding five people. One victim was pronounced dead on scene and four others were transported to local hospitals via flight care. Investigators say the suspect ran from the scene but turned up on the Walmart Store a half mile away. The man was taken into custody at the Walmart. He will be in Court Friday to face charges.
