Governor Newsom is investing more money into combating hate crimes. The Governor announced yesterday 30-million-dollars has been awarded to 12 organizations across the state. The grant money will help provide services to survivors of hate crimes and create hate prevention measures. The Attorney General released a report last month which showed hate crimes increased by nearly 90-percent over the past decade.
