Ca Cities Looking to Ban new Gas Station Builds
Some cities in the state are considering bans on new gas stations to fight climate change. The L-A Times reports several Bay Area cities are following in Petaluma's steps in a decision made by the Sonoma County city last year to stop approving the development of new gas stations. City council officials in Los Angeles are also working on a similar ban. They plan on having a hearing later in the summer which would also propose any expansions of current gas stations to be limited to serving zero-emissions vehicles and providing non-fuel related facilities
