Ca to go All EV Cars by 2035
California will put a plan to ban sales of new gas-powered cars into effect by 2035. Issued by the California Air Resources Board, the rule will require that every new car sold in the state beginning in 2035 must be free of the fossil fuel emissions that are a significant cause for climate change. Margo Oge [[ O-gay ]], who headed the EPA's transportation emissions program for over a decade, called the move "huge." She noted California would be the only government in the world to mandate zero-emission vehicles.
