Chico Police are Investigating several Fires that have occured in recent days..The Fires happened early Thursday and Friday mornings, beginning with a small blaze in the center median of Highway 99 south of the 20th street overpass. Another fire was spotted by the former Krispy Kreme on Business Lane. Then early FRiday morning police say several others in the same area were extinguished - including dumpster fires behind Red Lobster and Olive Garden and a second fire near Krispy Kreme. A person of interest was detained and released. Anyone with information is asked to call Chico Police.
