CSU Campuses face Tuition Increase
Nearly half-a-million college students are waiting to find out if they'll be paying more. The California State University system is considering raising tuition by six-percent annually for the next five years. That would tack on 342-dollars to in-state tuition fees when classes start next August, coming out to just over six-thousand dollars for the school year. If the proposal passes, that amount would jump to almost 77-hundred-dollars by 2028. A vote is expected in September.
