CA Expensive Cost of Living

It is no secret it costs a lot to live in California. From real estate to food and gasoline, prices are high. But is California the most expensive place to live in the United States? According to a new study from GoBankingRates.com, the answer is "no." The personal finance website figured out how much it costs in each state to live comfortably. California came in at number three with a little more than 80-thousand dollars a year, on average. The cheapest place in the country to live is Mississippi where you can get by on a little less than 46-thousand. Massachusetts is more expensive than California at about 88 grand per year, but the number one spot goes to Hawaii. There you need to make somewhere north of 112-thousand dollars.
