Butte County Board of Supervisors authorized the Butte County Emergency Management, in coordination with Butte County Water and Resource Conservation and Butte County Public Health, to accept $5.6 million in grant funding for the Butte County Drought Resilience and Outreach Project. DROP is a multi-year project that'll provide short- and long-term solutions for the county to make sure Butte County property owners affected by dry wells have access to water.
