Congressman Doug LaMalfa (R-Richvale) says the Senate failed to pass the Fire Tax Relief Bill following a recent vote on the Senate Floor. LaMalfa says it was bundled as part of the Bigger Tax Bill. He says the Senate could have a Vote on the Smaller Tax relief Bill as a stand alone in September, and Hopes at that time it will pass and then be signed by the President. If it doesn't get a vote in September, he feels it will be delayed until after the November Election.
