Cal Trans begins Road Repairs Post Park Fire
Caltrans is working on emergency restoration efforts along four different highways in Tehama County due to damage from the Park Fire.
Caltrans District 2 says that their crews along with crews from contractor J.F. Shea Company, Inc. are conducting emergency restoration operations on portions of the following highways:Highway 32...Highway 36.....Highway 89 and Highway 172
Officials say that all four highways along with state property sustained damage from the Park Fire, Caltrans says that both Highway 32 and Highway 36 are open to traffic, but motorists can expect areas of one-way traffic control as crews work to remove hazardous trees, repair guardrails, perform erosion controls, and replace signs damaged by the fire.
