Pacific Gas and Electric says that due to elevated fire risks, they are preparing for possible Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS) later this week. The Utility says they are actively monitoring weather conditions in thirty different California counties for a possible PSPS to help prevent wildfires by actively shutting off power to areas at high risk for fires. Incuding Butte Shasta Glenn Colusa Tehama and Shasta Counties.
