Chico State University (CSU) Police are investigating an arson incident that happened near campus According to officials at roughly noon Saturday , CSU Police responded near the south side of the Wildcat Recreation Center (WREC). Officials say a male suspect set fire to debris lodged between a PG&E utility pole and its metal brace. The fire was extinguished before it could cause any major damage. The University Police Department (UPD) asks anyone has information about the suspect to call (530) 898-5555.
