The Air Resources Board will decide whether to make producers clean up their fuel faster, helping the state reach a 2030 goal to cut pollution. The vote was postponed from March after it was revealed this change may leave drivers paying an extra 47-cents a gallon next year. The air board has since retracted that estimate but has yet to share a new one.
