The estate of Tyler Rushing has reached a settlement agreement with the City of Chico and the Chico Police Department, concluding the federal civil lawsuit filed in the aftermath of the deadly 2017 officer-involved shooting that killed Tyler Rushing. Scott Rushing says that he, his wife, and the City of Chico approved a settlement agreement to conclude the federal civil lawsuit that the Rushing estate had filed against the City of Chico and the Chico Police Department.
