CHAT New Affordable Housing
Chico Housing Action Team is launching a new housing project aimed at providing affordable homes for disabled individuals in the community.
Builders Village, a housing complex specifically designed for people with disabilities, will break ground at 3078 Highway 32 in Chico.
According to CHAT, the project will feature 61 units on 5 acres of donated land. The complex will include studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units, all fully accessible for people with disabilities and those with limited mobility. The project is funded by a $16.5 million grant from the state of California and additional contributions from the Chico community.
