Chico Police Department report Two men were arrested Sunday night after a routine traffic stop led to the discovery of cocaine and loaded firearms said. Officers stopped a vehicle at the intersection of E. 8th Street and Main Street for a traffic violation. The driver was identified as 27-year-old Jose Vazquez-Linares, and the passenger as 29-year-old Andres Mungia-Cabello. Police said a handgun was observed in plain view inside the vehicle. After safely detaining both occupants, a search revealed four plastic bags containing cocaine and a firearm loaded with five live rounds. Both men are facing charges
