An Oroville couple facing charges related to the fentanyl death of their two-year-old son. Butte County District Attorney Mike Ramsey says Chelsea Whitfield and Anthony Solansky are facing charges of felony child endangerment with a special allegation that the endangerment led to their child's death. The incident occurred on March 9, when the child was taken to Oroville Hospital after being found unresponsive. He was later pronounced dead due to acute fentanyl intoxication. BOth face up to 12 years in state prison if convicted. They are currently held without bail, awaiting their plea hearing on August 28.
