Butte Co Sups Approve new Mental Health Facility
Butte County supervisors have unanimously approved plans to develop a 40-room mental health rehabilitation center.
The county will lease a recently closed Enloe Behavioral Health facility. Last December, the county's Behavioral Health Department applied for a grant under the state's Behavioral Health Continuum Infrastructure Program. The facility will allow some individuals to be brought back to the county and removed from jail, where they can receive case management, psychiatric therapy and medical support.
