Tehama County Sup Resigns

A Tehama County Supervisor has resigned after reaching a settlement with the District Attorney's Office. Pati Nolen was accused by the Tehama County grand jury of drinking on the job while also secretly recording confidential meetings. Prosecutors were looking into a criminal complaint regarding her behavior while Nolen filed a counter claim. In the agreement the D.A.'s office has agreed to not file criminal charges related to the allegations and Nolen is dropping her suit against the county. Tehama County will also pay Nolen's attorney's fees totaling more than 137-thousand dollars. Nolen has agreed to never run for Tehama County Supervisor again. Her resignation was effective immediately
