The City of Chico Public Works Department is set to kick off its annual leaf collection program on November 10. Officials say the final leaf collection route will begin on January 1, 2026, marking the end of the program for the season. The collection route starts in the southwest part of the city and moves north in a clockwise direction, taking up to six weeks to complete.
