Ninth Victim Recovered after Avalanche in Sierra
The bodies of all nine victims have been recovered from the site of the deadliest avalanche in California history. In addition to the nine victims, six people survived last Tuesday's avalanche in a backcountry ski area near Lake Tahoe. Their eyewitness accounts will be critical as officials investigate the avalanche that rolled through. Meanwhile, mourners gathered for a candlelight vigil held in their honor last night in the town of Truckee.
