US Iran Strikes
Protests and celebrations have followed the joint U.S.-Israeli military operation that killed the supreme leader of Iran over the weekend. President Trump says Americans should expect more casualties after U.S. Central Command confirmed Sunday that three U.S. service members have been killed, and five others seriously injured as part of the operation. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Shumer were quick to call on the administration to explain why they launched the strikes. Members of Congress are now scheduled to receive classified briefings on Tuesday from several high-ranking officials, including Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
