The Butte County Elections Division has sent out a reminder regarding the Statewide Primary Election and the Congressional District 1 Vacancy Election, both scheduled for June 2. Ballot packets for both elections will be mailed to voters on May 4. Each voter will receive two separate packets: a purple packet for the Statewide Primary and an orange packet for the Congressional District 1 Vacancy. Both packets will include an official ballot, a voter information guide, and a return envelope. Voters are advised to ensure each ballot is returned in the correct return envelope.
