NVCF Local Business Donate to Funds for Victims Families
The North Valley Community Foundation has opened two funds in response to the June 22 shooting at the Chico Branch of the Butte County Library after connecting with the families of the two victims.A memorial fund for Robert Johnson, 74, of Orland, will benefit the Chico library at the family's request. A memorial fund for Jacob "Cody" Hull, 46, of Chico, will benefit his family and the young girl injured during the shooting. Several businesses in Chico that have planned benefit fundraisers say they will donate proceeds of sales to the fund as well.
