Butte Co Supervisor B Connelly

The Supervisor has had several trips (15) to Washington DC to meet with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission over the Re-licensing of the Oroville Dam. Since 2007 the Dam has not been relicensed in the long term with Annual Licensing handled thru the Dept of Water resources. Connelly has been in a dispute with State officials over Compensation for the community for resources surrounding recreation with the Oroville Dam and Lake Oroville. Connelly says this was promised when the damn was built and still has not been followed by the State Water Agencies some 50 years later
